Organic Knitting Kits

We have introduced a number of Organic Knitting Kits, which make ideal gifts. Where we have added accessories such as buttons or bag handles we have sourced 'Fair Trade' or locally made products.  In order to reduce packaging as per the Soil Association guide lines we now pack and mail our kits in cardboard boxes.

Cornish Organic Wool

Cornish Organic Wool has introduced the first Organic Wool not only to be farmed with Soil Association accreditation or Organic Farmers & Growers (OF&G) certification but also spun at the only Soil Association accredited spinning mill in the county, which is based in Launceston in Cornwall. As the whole process takes place in Cornwall it leaves only a small 'eco foot print'. All our wool has 'Made in Cornwall' status.

Peruk

 

Peruk is a Soil Association certified blend of Cornish Organic Wool and alpaca.  We use 75% Cornish Organic Wool and 25% alpaca.  It is organically spun in the UK using a mill powered by a water wheel. Peruk is then organically hand dyed in Cornwall under strict Soil Association guidelines.

Patterns
We have a selection of stylish knitting patterns to knit with Cornish Organic Wool and Peruk.  Some of these are designed by Tina Barrett and, with her help, we are continually adding new designs to our range so do keep coming back to see what's new. 

The patterns are free when you order your organic wool.  Please make sure you remember to order your pattern with your wool.
